Template helps: So you can trim the SIM card
If you don't want to wait long on your new Micro-SIM or Nano-SIM, you can also use your old SIM card. You remains your cell phone number. What you will need: A sharp pair of scissors, adhesive tape (e.g. Scotch Tape), as well as a printer with paper.
- Download first the Micro-SIM-template or Nano-SIM-template to download and print the PDF document.
- Cut out the template as accurately as possible on the dotted line.
- Apply the template then use a piece of Scotch Tape on the gold contacts of the SIM card.
- You now cut the SIM card along the solid line. Make sure that you do not scratch the Chip, since it can thus be unusable.
- You then try the SIM card in the phone. You should not fit yet, you can make improvements, for example with a Nail file.
