Windows start - number of cores set
If you suspect problems with some kernels, you can set for example how many cores you want Windows to start. So, go ahead:
- Press the key combination [Windows] + [R]. There is a new Dialog-box opens.
- Enter the command "msconfig" and confirm with [Enter].
- Click on the tab "Start" and then on "Advanced options"
- If you set the check in front of "processor number", you can select how many cores Windows is to be started. Set the desired quantity and finally click on "OK".
