How to install a Webcam
In the first step, you should install the correct drivers for your Webcam. You can find this, for example, on the supplied CD or on the manufacturer's Website as a Download. Make sure that the drivers are suitable for the used camera model and operating system. Then connect the Webcam to your PC.
- If you have no suitable driver at the ready, you can connect the camera to the PC. With a little luck Windows will find the correct driver by itself and automatically.

After you have installed the drivers for your Webcam correctly, this is basically already ready for use and you can use it for example for video telephony, or for image recording. The procedure for this is in all programs is similar, in Skype you can proceed for example as follows:
- Open the options of Skype and select the "video settings".
- Choose to use Webcam. You should now see a preview image. Click on "Save" to confirm your selection.
