So you are looking for, with Windows 7 automatically for the latest drivers
- Click on the left bottom of the task bar on the "Windows icon" and enter "device Manager" into the search field. Confirm with [Enter].
- Now select the Hardware component for which you're looking for current drivers want to search for. Then click above in the menu ribbon on the button "update driver software" (see image).
- In the Pop-up window, click on "search Automatically for updated driver software".
- Windows 7 searches the Internet for the appropriate drivers. A newer driver is available, it will be automatically downloaded and installed.
- After Installation, you must restart your PC.

Automatic driver search with Driver Booster Free
The free Tool "Driver Booster Free", and assumes the automatic driver search for it. As soon as a newer driver is found, you can install this directly with Driver Booster:
- Download the Tool "Driver Booster Free" from the CHIP download portal, download and install it. Caution: During the Installation to install the program "Advanced SystemCare". If you don't want to do that, you need to remove the hook during setup.
- After restarting your PC, open the program "Driver Booster Free".
- After a test run of your currently installed drivers are displayed in an Overview. Under "Outdated," you will find all the Hardware components for which there are newer drivers to Download.
- If you want to update a driver, click to the right of the entry on the "Update" Button. The program now loads the new driver and install it.
- Once the driver has been installed, start your PC.
