Some Windows services you can disable safely, if you need them. As you do this, you will learn in this short guide.

So, you can find the Windows services

  1. Go to the "Run"window by pressing the Windows key and "R" together.
  2. You are here "services.msc" and confirm with the Enter key. The services window opens.

Disable certain Windows services

  • You want to turn off the Windows service completely, select "Disabled".
  • After you confirm the setting by clicking on "Apply" (bottom right). Then close the settings window with "OK".
  • The Changes made are active after the next reboot.
