Block program using Windows Firewall
- Open the control panel and select, under the category "System and security", the "Windows Firewall" from.
- On the left, click the "Advanced settings" and then select on the left the category of "Outbound rules".
- Top right, click on the Option "New rule", another window will open.
- Here you can select "program" and do a search in the next step the EXE file for the program.
- In the following steps, you need to change nothing more. Give the rule finally, a name to block the program.
- Note: To block a service, select instead of "program", the Option "user defined".
