Windows: so the Backup works-encryption
- First make a Backup in your Version of Windows to.
- Download the free program Gpg4win and install it.
- Navigate the successful Installation to the location of your Backups.
- Here, you can make then right-click on the folder where the Backup is located.
- Alternatively, you can select the backed-up data, all before you continue.
- You then right click on the folder or the selected files and select "properties".
- Here you can select under "General" the Button "Advanced" and then click on "Extended attributes". Then activate the Option "encrypt contents to secure data" and confirm with "OK".
