Show hidden devices in Windows display
For old devices that do not support Plug&Play, you had to install manually the drivers. If you want to get rid of these old drivers, you have to let the inactive drivers. It works like this:
- Press WINDOWS + R and type "devmgmt.msc " in the box. Press Enter to confirm.
- The device Manager will open. At the top, click the "view" Option and select view then "show hidden devices".
- The inactive devices are grayed out to appear in the tree structure. You can now delete the driver in question.
