How to defragment your hard drive
- Click on the Windows Button (ex. "Start") and type in the search bar "defrag". Then open the Software "disk Defragmenter".
- Now select a data carrier and check whether a defragmentation is useful: Click on "analyze disk".
- You want to make the defragmentation, click "defragment disks" to start the process.
- This can take time depending on the storage space used up to 15 minutes. However, you can also cancel in the middle of it, and the defragmentation later make.
