Step 1: Inactive driver
- Click the bottom left of the screen on the Windows icon and type in the search line "environment". Select the search result "environment variables for this account manage".
- Click on the Button "New" and type in the First line "devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices" and the second "1".
- Then click "OK" and again on "OK".
Old driver
Step 2: out with the Old Windows 7 driver to delete
Caution: you must Uninstall only the drivers of the devices for which you are quite sure, that these are no longer needed! In case of doubt, you should leave the drivers prefer to be installed. Otherwise, massive problems can occur in your System.
- You have to click on the Windows icon and type in the search line "devices". Now select the "device Manager".
- Select in the top menu bar under "view" and "show hidden devices".
- You can now search for outdated and unused drivers. The Windows 7 is a little faded. Right-click on the device, the associated driver then uninstall.
