Windows error reporting disable in the Registry
The error reporting starts automatically with Windows. To disable the service, is, therefore, a small intervention in the Registry is required.
- Type in the Windows search command "regedit.exe" and start the eponymous System program.
- It is the Registry will now open. Navigate in the left column to the entry [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\WerSvc]. Now double-tap on the entry [Start].
- A new window will open. Change the value to "4" and confirm the entry with [Ok].
- If you want to enable error reporting, you must set the value back to "2".
