In Windows 7, you can have the computer automatically send a message show. This is especially helpful when multiple users are accessing on the PC and you want to put, for example, a short guide to a Login or a Support phone number behind.

Message when booting from the Windows 7 show - so it goes

  1. Click "Start" and type "regedit" into the search field.
  2. In the so-called "registry Editor," you must locate the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\System.
  3. In the last folder "System" you can find the Registry file "legal notice text" (see image).
  4. You open with a double click and enter in the "value" field of the desired message.
  5. The next time you Start your computer, a message appears automatically.
