Windows 10: the lock screen-save images
The Store requires a bit of effort is worth it in retrospect, but given the beauty of the photos.
- Press the key combination [Windows] + [R].
- Copy the following line into the existing window is "%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_cw5n1h2txyewy\local state\Assets" and confirm with "OK".
- It should open a folder where you can find the images.
- Select all the images in the folder with [Ctrl] + [A] and copy them to e.g. your Desktop. The emerging security warning, confirm with "OK".
- You create in your images folder, a new folder with any name and paste the previously copied files into this folder.
- The files can not be opened directly, you will need this even with the ending ".jpg" mistake.
- For this you can simply use the [Shift] key pressed hooked and at the same time with the right mouse button in the white area in the folder and click.
- Select in the menu that opens, select "open command window here".
- Type in the command prompt, type the Text "Ren *.** *.jpg" (without the quotation marks) and confirm the input by pressing [Enter].
- In the folder now already the previews of the individual images should be displayed. The faulty files you can delete are system files.
- The now available .jpg-files you can use as usual.
