Windows: processes via Task Manager
- You can open the Task Manager with the Shortcut [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Del].
- Click in Task Manager on the tab "processes".
- Select the desired process (e.g., "firefox.exe) and click on "end process" (see image).
- Caution: you should only terminate processes that you know.
