Outlook account settings are out of date – what to do?
- Click in the search field and type in "logon information".
- Open the "credential Manager", by clicking on it.
- Go to the "Windows credentials" and delete the "Generic credentials".
- You then start your PC. This should fix this Problem.
- If this is not the case, there may be an error with the time server.
- This to check, go to the control panel > "date and time" > "Internet time" - > "change settings".
- Make sure that here is the Server "time.windows.com" registered and the automatic synchronization is enabled.
- With a click on "update Now" you can perform the update immediately.
