Step 1: product Key Office backup
- To activate Microsoft Office again, you will need the 25-character product Key. You can find this, for example, on the back of the DVD case. You purchased Office online from a dealer, was sent the Key via email to you.
- You have the Software directly from Microsoft with your Microsoft account, purchased, or later in the Office with your Microsoft account, logged in, are Key and account connected to each other. Step 2: Office on the old PC, uninstall

- You have purchased the Software directly from Microsoft, you can just log in with your Microsoft Account. The Key is then no longer needed.
- The re-activation of Office should not work, just call Microsoft. The free helpline is 0800 28 48 283. There you will get the name of the old Keys for a new product Key issued.
