What else you can do
If the error still appears despite installing with the Media Creation Tool, you should perform a Disk Cleanup . This deletes superfluous files that may hinder the update.
- Call up Disk Cleanup via the Windows Start menu and click on "Clean up system files" in the new window.
- Check the "Temporary Windows installation files" and "Temporary files" items and confirm with "OK".
- If this doesnt help either, the problem is probably Microsoft itself. Sometimes Microsoft releases buggy update packages. In this case, you can use the Reset Windows Update Tool to reverse the failed update.
- Then deactivate the automatic updates and try to carry out the update at a later time.
