Check hard drive for problems with error 0x80070570

If the instructions above were unsuccessful, you can try an alternative repair.

  1. First, start the Command Prompt as Administrator .
  2. Now enter the command "chkdsk c: /f" without the quotation marks.
  3. Confirm with the [Enter] key and the system will search for errors on the hard drive and attempt to correct them.
  4. If you want to scan the hard drive on which Windows is located, you will be offered to run the scan the next time Windows starts.
  5. Note: The "c" in the above command represents the drive letter. You can find out which letter your affected drive has in step 2 of the instructions above.
