
Check hard drive for problems with error 0x80070570
If the instructions above were unsuccessful, you can try an alternative repair.
- First, start the Command Prompt as Administrator .
- Now enter the command "chkdsk c: /f" without the quotation marks.
- Confirm with the [Enter] key and the system will search for errors on the hard drive and attempt to correct them.
- If you want to scan the hard drive on which Windows is located, you will be offered to run the scan the next time Windows starts.
- Note: The "c" in the above command represents the drive letter. You can find out which letter your affected drive has in step 2 of the instructions above.
