Sky Receiver reset: Soft Reset
In the case of small problems, for example, if your Receiver has hung up, in most cases, a simple Soft Reset:
- Disconnect any attached hard drive of your Receiver.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet or the connector at the back of the receiver.
- After about a Minute plug the cable back in and start the device.

If the Soft Reset does not help, can you try it with the Hard Reset. All the settings are reset to the factory state:
- Disconnect all the connected hard disks from the Receiver and remove the power supply.
- Simultaneously press and hold the Guide and the Back Button on the Receiver.
- Plug the power cord back in and press and hold the buttons until the Reset is carried out.
- This process takes about 30 to 45 minutes. The device then reboots and automatically runs a search.
