1. Computer and a television through an electrical outlet protect
Most of the lightning strike destroys your Computer or TV through the power outlet. To prevent this from happening, there are the power strip with integrated surge protection. Of course, however, the best protection is to disconnect the devices from the power supply.

So you really would protection against lightning strikes, you should not only protect the power line. The enormous energy of lightning can destroy even through the network or telephone line to your Computer or TV.

3. Clutter avoid urgently
In order to protect your Computer and TV before the lightning strikes, you should avoid the cable clutter.
- Make sure that not too many devices on a power strip connected to it. This avoids, among other things, that the lightning a chain reaction and all of the devices are successively destroyed.
- They operate, therefore, never a Computer, and a television in the same outlet.
- Best to distribute the devices to all outlets in the room, if possible. Thus, fewer devices are connected per outlet.
