Windows Phone: search for Updates
An Update for Windows Phone is available, you will receive a message on your Smartphone. You know that an Update is available, follow directly the instructions in the next paragraph.
- To search for available Updates, you can switch list from the home page to the right to the application.
- From there you can select the "settings" and the category "phone update".
- An Update is available, it is displayed here. As it is installed, we will show you in the next paragraph.

- Download the free Zune Software from Microsoft and install it.
- You connect your Windows Phone via USB cable with your Computer and launch Zune.
- You will not see the available Update directly, go up to "settings" and the category "phone".
- Then here you will find the menu point "Update". Now Zune checks for available Updates.
- An Update is displayed, click on the "Update" Button. The process can take a while depending on the Update some minutes.
