Seamless mode in Virtualbox - the is behind it
You can enable seamless mode in Virtualbox, blurs the line between the virtual and the real System. And this is how it works:
- In seamless mode, Virtualbox fits directly into your actual Desktop. That is to say: All the Windows of the virtual system will appear as normal programs in your computer. You can work in this way, at the same time with the Windows of your virtual system and those of your actual system.
- Here is the difference to the full screen mode is. In this Virtualbox is increased simply, your actual System disappears in the Background. The seamless mode combines the two systems, however.
- The only requirements for the seamless mode is that there is a Desktop on the guest system and the Guest additions installed have. Otherwise, it may merge Virtualbox nothing.

- The seamless mode, you can activate the option "display" > "Seamless mode" in the system bar of Virtualbox.
- You want to switch back to normal window mode, use the key combination [Ctrl] + [L]. The menu of Virtualbox can be reached at any time using the Shortcut [Ctrl] + [Pos1].
