VirtualBox Extension Pack install - how it works
- First, download the VirtualBox Extension Pack on your machine.
- In VirtualBox open the settings. Click "file -> settings" to the window.
- In the settings click on "Extensions" in the left column. In the following window click on the small arrow icon to the right of the overview area.
- Now navigate in the selection window to the location of the downloaded Extension Pack. Should not be displayed under the path of the Extension Pack, it may be due to the fact that the file extension corresponds to what is expected in VirtualBox. In this case, enter simply "*.*" in the file search box, then all files will be displayed.
- Now select the VirtualBox Extension Pack and confirm with "OK" to install the Pack. It appears to be a demand, if you want to make the Installation really. Confirm with "Install".
- In the Following, you must agree to the license terms and the Installation will begin.
- After the successful Installation, you will receive a confirmation message and the Virtualbox Extension Pack is displayed in the Overview.
