With a Remote Desktop connection you can access over a network to the Desktop of a Windows computer. How to set up Ubuntu such a connection, we show you in this practical tip.

On Ubuntu Remote-Desktop-connection without a lot of effort to set up. To do this, proceed as follows:
  1. You open the console or the Terminal.
  2. Install the program "rdesktop" with the command "sudo apt-get install rdesktop".
  3. After you have downloaded the program, you need to start it yet.
  4. To do this, enter "rdesktop Windows-IP" in the console. Replace however "Windows IP" with the actual IP address of the computeryou want to connect.
