You want to find out the IP address that the Router assigned automatically, proceed as follows:
  1. Click "Start" and search for "Run".
  2. Enter in the command line, type the command "cmd". After that, the console opens.
  3. In the console, enter the command "ipconfig" (without the quotation marks). There is a list with all Connections, your Computer will appear. Search here for the name of your router (for example "fritz.box").
  4. Under the item "IPv4 address" to find the IP address of your Computer is reachable on the network.
  5. You are not sure which IP-address is the right one, pay attention to the Format of the address - usually of the type 192.168.x.x.
