Ubuntu:: Kernel Update
A Kernel Update is done under Ubuntu, thanks to its simple package management with two commands:
- Click with the right mouse button on the Desktop and select "Terminal open".
- Now enter "sudo apt-get update" to update the package lists.
- After the command is finished, you will need to enter "sudo apt-get upgrade".
- Now all installed packages are updated to the latest version. If a Kernel Update is available for your System, it is installed automatically.
- After a successful Kernel will be prompted to Update you, finally, to restart your System.
