What happens if I keep Windows XP?
Who would not want to part with patout of Windows XP, you can of course stay with the old operating system. However, an outdated operating system carries with it some risks:
- Viruses and malicious software: Microsoft offers from the 8.3. no more security updates for Windows XP. As a result, your Computer will not be protected sufficiently against harmful Software.
- No Support: The telephone and the Online help for Windows XP will be completely set.
- Software problems: The software developer requires the short or long term new operating systems. Many of the programs you will no longer be able to use well.
What Alternatives do I have?
Who would not want to stay with Windows, you can use the operating systems Linux or Mac OS. Thus, the purchase of a new computer is connected, however, most of the time. Much cheaper upgrade to Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1.

With Windows 7, and Windows 8.1 Microsoft has brought a stable, powerful and user friendly operating systems on the market. Some of the difficulties it has brought to users instead of Windows 8.
