Note: the Uninstall Steam your games will be deleted. To prevent this, you can go into the program folder of Steam (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam) and the folder "steamapps" to another location on your Computer copy.
- Steam can be selected via the "control panel" in "programs & features" to uninstall.
- Select the program "Steam" and click "Uninstall". Follow the uninstall instructions.
- If this doesn't work for you, runs a Steam process running on your PC in the Background. Press the key combination [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Del] in the "task Manager".
- Stop running Steam processes.
- Then try again to uninstall Steam.
