Skype: the microphone during a call, turn off
- After you have selected a phone number, appear in the connection data. Below you can see some of the Icons, among other things, a microphone.
- A simple click on the microphone Icon it switches to mute.

Various Skype-to-Skype disable Sounds, or change
- You go in the menu bar of Skype, click "actions" and select the sub-item "options".
- In the menu "options" choose "sounds" and can then disable it with one click, all the Sounds.
- Of course, you can select only the individual tones, Park or various events of other Sounds associate with.
- If you want to then hone a little more on the standard volume of your microphone and/or speaker, simply go in the "audio settings".

Skype in Windows 10 and Android/iOS App mute
- The microphone turn off in Skype for Windows 10 or iOS/Android, proceed as described above.
- In Windows 10 you can turn off the sound by switching in the "system settings" of Windows 10 and click under "System," "notifications and actions" in "Skype" on the slider.
- In the App first, tap on your profile image and then at the top right of the crossed-out bell. Select then "Disable" to switch the App to mute.
