Backup from the NAS invest - you need to note
- For the backup of the backup, we recommend you an external hard drive. Make sure that it is large enough.
- During Backup, the external hard drive should have the NTFS file system, otherwise not all of the files on the disk.
- In most cases, you can specify in the NAS-settings in an interval, when the Backup is automatically made to be. We recommend a monthly Backup.
- Alternatively, you can set, in many cases, the files should be stored on the NAS in the respective Cloud. To do this, you will need to register if necessary.
- Or download the files in your Dropbox high. So you have you everywhere and always at the ready. But even here, you should make sure that the Dropbox is big enough.
- However, you should note that a Backup to the local or external hard drive much faster than the Internet in your Dropbox or similar Cloud services.
- Do you have your NAS encrypted, you should also have an encryption of the Backups think, for example, with TrueCrypt.
