RAR file repair
In this tutorial we use the free Tool WinRaR. You can also use other Pack Software, however, the following functions are arranged differently, or not available:
- RAR file repair: Open WinRAR and locate the RAR file in the Explorer window of WinRAR. Click in the upper right corner the Button "Repair". Then a small window will open. Click on "OK" and wait a Moment. After, you will reports on the success or failure of the repair.
- CRC error fix: Occurs when trying to extract the CRC error, it can be in most cases fixed. Follow the instructions in this practice tip.
- Defect, extract the archive: if you Want to save at least a few files from the archive, you can unzip a defective archive. Read in this practical tip more.
- Download: Should all bring nothing, you can then only re-Download the RAR-file.
