PS4: DNS error "NW-31250-1" fix

The DNS error NW-31250-1 plagues a large number of PS4 players. We explain to you what you need to do to fix the error.

DNS error NW-31250-1: Download start again

For some players it helps to restart the aborted Download again.
  1. You go in the PS4 start menu, go to the "messages".
  2. There you go to the "Downloads".
  3. Click on the broken-off Download.

NW-31250-1: DNS-Server manually, enter

The above tip does not help, change your DNS Server manually.
  1. Go to the "settings"->"network".
  2. Click on "set up Internet connection".
  3. Select where it defines "user. Enter all of the necessary information such as the password for your network.
  4. In the "IP address settings" go to "Auto" and go to "DNS settings" to "Manual".
  5. You use the addresses 8.8.8.8 as the "Primary DNS", and 8.8.4.4 as the "Secondary DNS". You can also try it with the addresses 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.
DNS-Server to specify manually
