With Photoshop touch-up photos: tonal values correct
The tonal values represent the brightness information of a pixel image. The brightest and the darkest tonal values are of great importance, because they determine which color is used in the area. With the levels adjustment, you can adjust tonality, and enhance the contrast of your image.
- Open the image you want to edit and press the key combination Ctrl+J. This will create a new layer on which you apply the tonal correction.
- Navigate to "image", "corrections" and "tone correction" or press the key combination Ctrl+L. It is a Dialog window with settings will open.

Photoshop: curves for better image quality
