Reasons why the PC restarts
Check whether the misbehaviour only occurs since you installed a certain program. If so, you should uninstall the Software, or find out why it is causing the reboots.
- If the Computer is overheating or the power supply is in contact with a loose, can this cause a false start. With Tools like the Argus Monitor allows you to monitor the temperature. You generally make sure that the fan and its surroundings of dust as much as possible.
- If you get a blue screen (see Screenshot), or any other error message before the reboot, you should search specifically for this description of the error.
- Remember the time to which the restart. Then open the event display. You navigate in the program of the time. You can find more detailed information and possibly a reason for the restart.

- To exclude the possibility that malicious Software is causing the reboot, you can perform a complete virus Scan. It is recommended, outside of the operating system by a USB-Stick with Live-systems, such as SARDU to check.
- If you have sufficient hard disk memory, an operating system such as Ubuntu install in parallel and check whether the unwanted restart also occurs. If this is not the case, the error lies in Windows and repair or Re-Installation of Windows is necessary.
- If you had with the previous tips with no success, unfortunately, the only way is for the repair Service, since presumably the Hardware has a Defect. Depending on the age of the unit, you can still claim under warranty.
