Outlook: Read E-Mails hide

To make a difference in your Outlook mailbox for more order, you can hide all read Emails. The setting option is hidden, but still easily found if you follow this practice tip.

Select this Option to hide read Mails in Outlook

  1. First, open Microsoft Outlook.
  2. You go to the top of the menu bar, click "view" > "view settings". Now a new window will open.
  3. You "select > Filter..." "More options" and set the hook at the top line "Only elements:".
  4. In the selection box behind it, must now stand "Unread" so that only the unread E-Mails appear in the Inbox and all read Mails are hidden.
  5. If everything is correct, confirm twice with "OK" and the setting.
