Timeline in OpenOffice Draw to create
A timeline, you can in OpenOffice Draw, and then, in OpenOffice Writer, insert:
- Open a new page in OpenOffice Draw.
- Then click the arrow Button and draw a long arrow from left to right in the document.
- Next, you need to insert the individual sections on your timeline. This works on the lines Button.
- First insert a line on the timeline and then copy it with the key combination [Ctrl] + [C].
- With [Ctrl] + [V] to insert the line as often as you want and use the arrow keys to exactly position it.
- With the Button "T" can be an optional Text, for example, annual figures for the sections on the time bar.
- The finished timeline, you can now save Export as PNG-file via "file">"".
- In OpenOffice Writer click "Insert" > "picture" > "From file" and select the newly created timeline.
