Privacy and data protection - areas with Nitro PDF black
The Adobe-Acrobat-Alternative "Nitro PDF" allows you, without much effort sensitive area in a document to black. The text to be removed in sections and black blocks replaced. In order to use this Feature, you need however, the paid full version for currently 136,99 Euro.
- Open an existing PDF document in the "Nitro PDF Reader".
- Click on the tab "Protect". Now you can find left above a point "content highlighting" the point "For the redaction mark". Select the range of text you want to redact. This can be images, single words, paragraphs or whole pages.
- Up to now, is still blackened nothing is final, but only marked. You want to make several sections of the document are defaced, you can apply this step multiple times.
- To black out Text permanently, click the apply to "All of the redactions", it removes the marked locations. Attention! Redactions cannot be undone! However, they will be active when you save. You have blacked out accidentally in a place, close the document without saving it.
