Lenovo: OneKey Recovery to start
Your Computer is still fully functional, you can start the OneKey Recovery as you would any other program. Your Computer does not start or is very unstable, you can start the Tool in other ways as well:
- Before the Start of OneKey Recovery, your Computer must be turned off.
- In the case of most of the Lenovo Laptops you will find either on the side or above the keyboard is a small button with an arrow.
- This is pressed, the Computer starts in the emergency System. Here you can select the Option "recovery" and "OneKey Recovery".
Lenovo OneKey Recovery: Backup or restore
You have started the Tool, you can choose between a system backup and a system restore.
- System backup: Select a path to Save the backup and give the Backup a name, e.g. the current date.
- Then click "Next" to begin the system backup.
- System recovery: Select this mode, your Computer will start up first. You can now choose between the recovery from a self-created Backup or the factory condition.
- After about 10 to 30 minutes the process is complete and the Computer is restarted.
