Copy, scan and Fax via the HP Solution Center
To be able to one of these functions, you need to turn on their printer. Now select in the left menu of functions (see picture).

Image scan
- You want to scan an image, select the appropriate button. It will open a new window, your HP product begins with the Scanning process.
- This is complete, you will see a preview. You are satisfied with the image, click the bottom right of the screen to accept. The product is not, like them, you can make the top right a variety of settings, and thus, the brightness, resolution, and size change.
- You accept the Scan, it is performed again and saved. The location will open automatically.

Document scanning
- You want to scan a document, you can select for the time being, whether you want to levels in color, grayscale or black-and-white (see picture).
- Then, you can choose whether you want to save the document as an image file, or directly in a program like Word or Paint to open it.
- You want to save the document as an image, see below under type of file, and numerous storage options. You have no special requirements, choose a standard Format such as JPEG or PNG.
- Then put a hook under the item "preview", if you want to make further settings. A simple Scan, you can remove the hook and at the bottom, click the Button "scan".

Copy
- To create a copy, select in the main menu, to the said point. Until the window opens, it can take up to 15 seconds.
- Now you can make numerous settings. You can choose between the options Text, photo, or Mixed, enter the number of copies you want and then determine the quality of the copy.
- In addition, you can change the contrast, the paper and the Format.
- In order to create finally a copy, click below on either the Button "color copy" or "black and white".

Fax
- You want to send a Fax, you must first select a recipient. Are you looking for this out of your address book (see picture), or enter the contact details manually.
- Select ligates the desired quality and you have to choose between the options "color" or "black and white".
- Now click on the Button "send Fax" to start the process.

Additional settings in HP Solution Center
- In the left menu you will find the item "settings". Here you can configure the printer and its functions. These do not need to change under normal circumstances, however.
- In addition, you can see in the middle of the three points, "Shopping", "help and Support" and "not Create", you need to be. The item "help and Support" you should consult in case of problems.
- Below you can see the item "Software". Here are all of the extra programs from HP, which are installed on your Computer. With a click on the respective program, it will be opened.
