To set up Yahoo Mail in Thunderbird:
- First, open the Mozilla "Thunderbird".
- If you use "Thunderbird" for the first Time, it will automatically get the window "mail account setup" is displayed. Click here then at the bottom click the button "Skip and my existing E-Mail address".
- Otherwise, click on the home page, under "create New account" to "E-Mail".
- In the next window your name to be displayed as the sender of the Mails. You also enter your E-Mail address of GMX, as well as the password. Confirm with "Next".
- Tip: Select "IMAP" remain the mail on the Server of GMX. With "POP" are downloaded, the retrieved E-Mails on your PC and stored there.
- As soon as the sample-retrieval of E-Mails successfully, click "Done" to the account finally set up.
