Use Skype on the Chromebook
Whether there will be a Skype App for the Google Chromebook, is still unclear. Derweile you can chat, however, by alternative programs with your Skype contacts:
- You can use "IM+". To login with your Skype account to chat with your friends. A Video or voice chat, however, is not possible.
- The Google-developed App "Hangouts" is the One-to-One replacement for Skype. With you (Video start)Chats with your Google contacts.
- Trick: Log in to "Outlook" and open the messages icon (see Screenshot). Now you start a new conversation with your Skype contacts, after you have logged in.
