Font in Gimp, turn - a manual
Curved fonts you create in Gimp using paths. In order to specify the orientation of your texts and match the words to the curved line.
- Start Gimp and open the picture you want.
- Then select the text tool with the Icon "A" from the tool bar, and click the image area.
- Enter the field with your desired Text. About the Buttons, you can zoom in on the lettering and adapt.
- Now select the paths tool (see photo) and click on the beginning and end of your text.
- There is a line that you can drag with the mouse and adjust. In order to determine how strong your writing is to turn.
- Finally, click with the right mouse button on the text box and select the Option "Text on path".
- Gimp copied your Text and adds it to the curved line. The old text box, you can delete now.
