Backup with Windows 7 on-Board resources: how to

To create a Backup under Windows 7, it requires not necessarily an additional program - not a paid. How to perform a Backup of your system with the already existing resources, you can find here.

Create Backup in Windows 7

  1. Click on the Start Button.
  2. You type in the search bar "save" and choose to Save the search result "and restore".
  3. Right click on "set up backup" and confirm the security query with "Yes".
  4. You now have the choice to save the backup to another Partition, hard drive or a CD/DVD. Select one of these options and click "Next".
  5. You can now choose whether you want Windows to perform a standard backup, or if you want to configure (see image). If you only want to backup a few files and folders, you should configure the backup itself. You can opt for one of the two variants and click "Next".
  6. You have selected the second point, you can select individual folder or deselect. Then click on "Next".
  7. Now you can see the selection all of the folders included in the backup. You can even set how often files are backed up want to be, click on the blue Link "schedule". Depending on your wishes you can turn off the automatic backup in full or you to the time and rhythm to configure.
  8. Finally, click on "save settings and run backup", it starts Windows with the backup of the files.
