Ryanair: food allowed in hand luggage? All information

  • Ryanair offers you a small selection of snacks and drinks on board the aircraft.
  • However, you also have the option of carrying your own food in your hand luggage and eating it during the flight.
  • So sandwiches, fruit, chocolate or gummy bears are no problem at the security check.
  • When it comes to liquids, however, you should make sure that you can only take containers in your hand luggage that are a maximum of 100 ml in size.
  • These containers must be in a sealed, transparent zip bag with a maximum content of 1 liter. You can usually get these bags from the machine in the terminal.
  • Please note that foods such as nut nougat cream, honey, jam, sausage spread, yoghurt, quark or foods preserved in liquids also count as liquids.
  • Here too, you must not exceed the upper limit of a maximum of 10 0ml per container.
