The decoration settings: frames in Gimp to create
Open Gimp and the photo to receive a frame.
- Click in the menu bar, click "Filter" and then on "decoration".
- In the open menu select "edge" from a list. There is a window in which the properties of the edge can specify.
- To give you the edge in size on the x - axis and y-axis, in addition, you can also set the border color.
- Save the settings with "OK".
Frame in Gimp to create the fill function
You can create in Gimp a frame using the fill function.
- First, create an additional level for the frame. To do this, click in the menu bar, click "layer" and "New level.
- Select the tool "rectangular selection" or the "Elliptical selection out of the box".
- Select the area that will later be framed.
- Then click in the menu bar, click "selection" and "Invert".
- Then fill the selected area with the desired color or pattern.
