Check spelling of Word does not work anymore
- Often the Problem is that you have inadvertently changed the language selected by the spelling checker. In this case, no German words can be recognized as correct.
- Similarly, it may happen that multiple languages were selected at the same time. In this case, incorrect word fragments are detected in other languages and, therefore, no longer of the right to examination of writing strokes.
- You can open in any error case, the settings of the spell checker and first of all check that the correct language is selected.
- In Word 2013, you enter the Check Tab and the fifth icon from the left to the settings.
- To go to other possible errors out of the way, you should always have selected only one or a maximum of two correction-languages. Select your preferred language as the default.
- Make sure that you have set the Option "spelling and grammar check" no hook.
