Word: duplicate page - so it goes

How you can duplicate a Word page, we will show you in this guide.

Step 1: In Word, a bookmark create

Before you can duplicate a page in another Word document, you must first create a bookmark with the desired area.
  1. You open the Word document from which you want to duplicate a page.
  2. Then click above in the menu ribbon on the "Insert".
  3. Now select with [Ctrl] key to the area of the Word document in a new document you want to insert. You can mark an entire page or only single rows. In addition, you can also select only the Headings of all pages of the document.
  4. Now click at the top of the menu-strip at the entry "bookmark".
  5. Enter a name for the created bookmark and click "Add" (see image).
  6. You can repeat this process as often as you like. You use for each bookmark a different name.

Step 2: Duplicate the bookmark in a different Word document

  1. Now you can open the Word document in which you want to add the desired page. Put the Cursor at the point at which the page is to be inserted.
  2. Then click above in the menu ribbon on the "Insert"tab.
  3. Then click to the right of the entry "object" on the small arrow and choose "Text from file...".
  4. Are you looking for in the list, the Word document from which you want to duplicate the Text.
  5. Enter "the area..." the name of the bookmark that you created previously and confirm with "Paste" (see picture).
