You have typed, for example, a few sentences in English, Word changes the language automatically to English. You start to write and then back to English, it does not change a Word of the language in some cases.
  1. Go to the top of the menu bar to the tab "Check".
  2. Under the category of "language" you can now find the Button that is named "language".
  3. Here, select the Option "language set proofing".
  4. Are you looking for in the list after the entry "English" and click on the "OK" Button. Then, Word will switch to English.

Word in English installed - what to do?

You have installed Word, for example, in English, you can change the language in the best case. Alternatively, you just a re-Installation or purchase of an Office language pack for about 20 euros.
  1. Top left, click on the Button "File" and select the "Options".
  2. Go to the category of "Language" and select the bottom of the list "English".
  3. Click on the Button "Add" and "set as default".
