Standard customize settings in Word

You do not want to use the default settings of Word, you can customize them to your personal needs. So, for example, the font and Font size you can change. We will show you how to do it.

The default template in Word, change

  1. Open Word and click on the "startup"tab.
  2. Click to the right of the "format templates" on the small icon (see image).
  3. Click next to the template "default" on the arrow and select Change the point"".
  4. Here you can change the template now to your Liking. The font, font size, and paragraph spacing can be easily changed.
  5. You have changed your settings, click below on the point "New at this template-based documents", and then click the "OK"Button.
  6. Word now starts always with the default template that you just configured.

Standard customize settings in Word 2013, 2010 and 2007

  1. Open Word and click on the "startup"tab.
  2. Click to the right of the "Font" on the small icon (see image).
  3. Now you can customize the default settings according to your preferences.
  4. Then click on the Button "set As default" and then click "OK".

Change font permanently in Word 2003

  1. Click above in the menu bar, click "Format" and select the item "sign".
  2. Now, set up the desired font size, and Font, and click on the Button "Standard".
  3. A query is done, confirm with "Yes". Then click the bottom right of the "OK"Button.
