Powerpoint: sub-points to create - so it goes

With outlines you can capture in PowerPoint, main and sub - points on your slides. We will show you how easy it is.

In PowerPoint, create

So, you can create points with PowerPoint Version 2010:
  • Start a new presentation in PowerPoint and navigate to the "view"tab.
  • Click in the "presentation views" to "outline view".
  • Next to the rectangular foil symbol a name for your presentation and confirm this with [Enter].
  • You have now created automatically for a further film.
  • Enter a title for the new page and also confirm with [Enter].
  • It is a further foil. This is important, because the new slide will be converted in the next step, to points.
  • Press the [tab] key to create sub-points in the current slide.
  • The line will be indented, and you can now enter the Text for the sub-item.
  • Press the [tab] key several times to move the points further.
  • You complete the entry with [Enter].
  • Additional sub-points you can enter in the same way.
  • You have added all the sub-points for this slide, press the [shift] + [tab] key. So you go back up one level.
  • You can then create new slides.
